The Fuzz are a whilrwind of light and heat, five young firebrands who mix sound and fury in a most delightful manner. Over the space of forty minutes on their debut album, 100 Demons, they cram in more riffs, energy and emotion than most bands manage in an entire career. With a sound that seems to evoke the best of Detroit, Seattle and Geelong, The Fuzz remain free of real obvious influences beyond the fact that they like their guitars loud and their songs fast. It's the sound of a young band who've been together since their early teens weaned on a diet of Stooges, Mudhoney, The Hellacopters and Magic Dirt.
