The Barbs hit the ground running with their debut 7" Dying Inside/Forget About You, receiving high radio rotation and good charting. This was repeated when the 12" EP Fringe reached no 2 on the ARIA independent charts, and it looked like they might do some business. Their brand of attacking guitar pop earned them a solid live following. Unfortunately, not long after this release, member's interests outside the band caused its demise. This is a compilation of their single and EPs.
